The latest attack on Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron came on Saturday Night Live when rapper Megan Thee Stallion played an audio recording of activist Tamika Mallory saying, “Daniel Cameron is no different than the sellout Negroes that sold our people into slavery.” Cameron responded, “At the end of the day, my responsibility is to provide facts and truth and represent and stand up for justice.” Cameron has been targeted by social justice activists. In their world, facts are often twisted to fit a narrative. In this case, the narrative is that police are oppressors, the black community is the oppressed, and black authorities should always side with skin color. Fortunately, Cameron stood on the side of the law and the truth. And this is good for everybody regardless of their skin color.
