The Commonwealth Policy Center is helping Kentuckians value life, protect natural marriage, defend religious liberty, and promote fiscal integrity.

We believe the Judeo-Christian worldview has benefited the United States and the Commonwealth of Kentucky for more than 200 years and we’re working to shore up those important principles for future generations.

We’ve forged relationships with political, church, and community leaders. Hundreds of Kentuckians have helped to accomplish this important work and have financially sustained this effort. Would you consider partnering with us? Your partnership is an investment for a better Kentucky.

You will find different ways of donating to the different causes of CPC below. These include a donation to CPC (501c(4)), the special category of a Friend of the Commonwealth, a donation to the Foundation (501c(3)), and to the PAC.

Would you partner with Commonwealth Policy Center by sending your best gift today? It will be used to help educate voters about the candidates who share your values. Commonwealth Policy is a non-profit 501c4 organization. Contributions are not tax deductible.

The Commonwealth Policy PAC is a political action committee that influences state level elections.

It is affiliated with the Commonwealth Policy Center, the leading conservative grassroots effort in Kentucky committed to promoting conservative policies and influencing elections on behalf of principled conservative candidates.

We will endorse candidates committed to the sanctity of human life, natural marriage, and fiscal responsibility–candidates who understand that government should not profit at the losses of its people through expanded gambling. We will work for fiscally sound policies that will build a better economy and create more opportunity for Kentuckians.

The Commonwealth Policy PAC is an independent expenditure committee. Contributions are not tax deductible.

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD): If you’re 70.5 or older you can donate and benefit your tax situation!

Does tax-free charitable giving, sound impossible? Maybe not. If you’re 70.5 or older and own an individual retirement account (IRA), the IRS permits tax free transfers directly to the Commonwealth Policy Foundation (CPF) or other eligible charitable (501c3) organizations through Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD). The entire QCD amount goes to CPF, is not income to the donor, is tax-free and satisfies part or all the the annual Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) up to $100,000. This can benefit you and our mission!

Recent tax law changes have encouraged more tax filers to use the standard deduction, thus eliminating the tax deducibility of charitable donations. QCD’s provide a tax-free pathway to continue or enhance charitable support of Commonwealth Policy Foundation while using the standard deduction option. The QCD comes directly from your retirement account custodian to CPF, the donor does not take ownership of the distribution. Most IRA custodial institutions provide simple guidelines for setting up the QCD process. Although the SECURE act delayed Required Minimum Distributions until age 72, QCD’s can still be utilized as soon as one turns 70.5.

If you have questions about QCD’s and how you can benefit yourself and our mission please call the CPF office at (502) 713-2020, view the documents below, or contact your tax advisor.
