Stories of gender ideology imposed on our children are becoming more common. Celine Dion launched a new clothing line that according to the website “liberates children from the traditional roles of boy/girl." ‘Good Morning America’ normalized the idea of children drag-queens when the hosts interviewed 11-year old “drag artist” Desmond Napoles. And a male gym teacher in Port Richey, Florida is being disciplined for refusing to allow a transgender girl who says she’s a ‘boy’ undress in the middle-school boy's locker room.  These are troubling stories to listen to. They're problematic for our society. But most of all, they're troubling for the young people who are trying to navigate the difficulties of adolescence. Gender isn't some kind of social construct but rather a biological truth that makes us who we are and it's the responsibility of adults to say that.
