The Kentucky General Assembly is meeting today and it promises to be a challenging session. Fixing the state's broken pension system is a priority. So is modernizing our tax system. Gov. Bevin has also called for significant cuts to state government.   This means that difficult decisions will be made. As challenging as it may be, remember that all of governing is not all on the government. This is because we the people have significant say in what goes on in Frankfort. We can make phone calls to let our leaders, attend committee meetings and even town meetings when legislators come back home to give updates.. Another thing we can do is to pray for our leaders to make good decisions. Prayer is powerful. In fact, considering the challenges, it may be the most important thing we can do.
