Iowa has been the epicenter of national politics for months as Democratic presidential candidates have campaigned and made their case to the voters. However, instead of a clear winner announced on election night, there was confusion. In fact, it was a fiasco. The app used to report votes for each precinct malfunctioned so the results were delayed. This raised concerns of election integrity as many asked if the votes were honestly tallied. There were also concerns of election meddling. Was the election hijacked? Democratic political commentator Chris Matthews was harsh with his democratic friends saying “The Democrats can’t even get a three-car funeral organized.” Donald Trump Jr. added “If the Democrats can’t run their own caucuses how can they run a country?”
