The tragic death of Kobe Bryant and his 13-year old daughter Gigi is a somber reminder of life’s frailty. Seven other people died in the tragic helicopter crash last week. They were fathers, mothers, daughters and sons. And their loss leaves a gaping hole in many lives. This sad moment leaves us all to reflect on our own lives, our own frailty. We’re reminded that we’re finite creatures and will all meet our end someday. In other words, as much as we think we’re in the drivers seat, we’re not. As troubling as death is, it’s a reality that we’ll all face. So take inventory on your life. Prepare yourself to meet God on His terms and tell your loved ones how much you love them every day.
