The governor of Mississippi recently took a stand for women, and signed a law banning biological males from competing in girls public school sports teams. Girls in Mississippi will no longer have to fear that boys will join them in the locker room or on the track field. Nor will aspiring women athletes need to fear losing scholarship opportunities to biological boys. A similar bill called the Save Women’s Sports Act was introduced in the Kentucky legislature by Sen. Robby Mills (R-Henderson). However, the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce opposed it. because they think it’s bad for business. Even of it were true, is money more important than young girls who want a fair competition in public school sports? Sen. Mills applauds Mississippi’s decision and hopes Kentucky will be the next state to pass the Save Women’s Sports Act next year.
