Cecile Richards abruptly resigned from Planned Parenthood—the nation's biggest abortion business.  Of course, Planned Parenthood has been under investigation by the FBI for allegedly selling baby body parts. As a result several states, including Kentucky have cut their funding. The abortion industry appears to be in retreat as Americans are becoming more pro-life. So it’s ironic that as Planned Parenthood is reeling the U.S. Senate couldn't muster 60 votes to ban late term abortions. The bill is called the Pain Capable Unborn Child Act and it was proposed because babies at 20 weeks feel pain. And with today's medical technology babies close to this age can live outside the womb. Most of the civilized world outlaws late-term abortion. In fact, only seven nations allow it. The trend is toward life. Expect this bill to come up again. Perhaps it will have enough votes then.
