We all want to protect our children and their innocence. That’s why we have laws against exploiting them for any reason, including sexual exploitation. Yet it’s becoming common to hear of somebody arrested or sentenced for possessing child pornography. Now there’s a move to minimize the consequences, at least in Georgia. The state parole board just release the nation’s most prolific collector of child pornography, with many of the videos and images found in his possession being so vulgar as to be inappropriate to describe. Peter Mallory was sentenced to prison for 1000 years back in 2012 but the Georgia parole board just let him out.  Mallory’s addiction led him to engage in predatory behavior on young women. But now, those in places of authority are letting the predators out back into our society. And it’s our children who will suffer the most.
