The Supreme Court issued a ruling that allows states to update its voter rolls. But some are saying that it will disenfranchise voters. At issue is an Ohio law intended to make sure that their voter rolls are updated. It's a six year process where if a voter hasn't voted or signed a petition in two years, the secretary of state mails a notice to the voter to ask if they are still living at the same address. If they haven't voted in the next four years, their name is dropped from the voter rolls. The goal is to prevent voter fraud.  A survey last election found 8500 illegal votes cast in 21 states.  This is what the Ohio Secretary of State wants to prevent. And the ruling ensures that he along with other Secretary's of State are allowed to maintaining election integrity.
