A popular TV show on Netflix has been canceled. An Amazon executive resigned.  So does a top executive in the newsroom at National Public Radio. These are just a few stories linked to sexual harassment and assault by men who abused their power to take advantage of women. It's called the Weinstein effect. Harvey Weinstein's sexual predation on vulnerable women was Hollywood's biggest open-secret. But the unmasking of this "secret" has emboldened women who were sexually assaulted or harassed to come out and tell their story.  The sad stories are opening up conversations about moral boundaries and appropriate interaction between the sexes. Our hyper-sexualized society has contributed to wrong attitudes toward women. Question is, do we have the courage to push back against the wrong attitudes about women that have led to this in the first place?
