The State of the Union Address is tonight. Since the government has reopened, Nancy Pelosi has invited President Trump to Capitol Hill to deliver the address to Congress. There will be talk about the economy, the middle east and need for a wall on our southern border. But as important as the State of the Union address is, it won't address our moral confusion or our spiritual poverty—the crisis in our land most admit but refuse to talk about in public. At the heart of the state of our union is a matter of the human heart, how it's shaped and how it can be fixed. In order to get these things right we need to hear from our Creator God. If we truly believe our national motto "In God We Trust" we might as well start acting like it.
