A group of pro-life advocates presented Gov. Beshear with over 10,000 petition signatures asking him to close down EMW Women’s Clinic in Louisville. They point out that 627 children have been aborted in Kentucky between March 1 to April 21. During the same time period, there were 171 deaths due to COVID-19. It’s ironic that Gov. Beshear is going to great lengths in the name of protecting human life from the tiny coronavirus. On the other hand, a blind eye has been turned toward unborn, tiny, living, human beings—just as real, just as alive, and just as human as the people Gov. Beshear is working to protect. Protecting human life is the first object of good government and if we’re to be honest, this protection should extend to the unborn.
