It’s election day today! And if voter turnout projections are correct, you’re likely to stay at home. Only about one of three registered voters is expected to vote today. If you’re registered to vote and aren’t planning on voting, please allow me to help change your mind. Free elections aren’t really free. Somebody had to pay the price to secure our free elections. It follows that freedom isn’t free either. It takes responsible citizens to serve as vanguards of freedom. Each of us has a duty to keep our government in check. This is done through elections. If you haven’t voted yet, there’s still time. Get out there and vote. If you need more information about the candidates, go the CPC website: www.commonwealthpolicycenter.org. The polls are open until 6 pm.
