Have you ever started your day worrying if the police will arrest you because you were reported going to an unauthorized church? If you were in China, millions of citizens face that threat every day. Have you ever worried that if you said something critical of the government you might be arrested? If you were in North Korea or Cuba, you’d be on the government’s wanted list. We take freedom of religion and freedom of speech for granted but can’t any longer. These freedoms don’t sustain themselves. In fact, they’re prone to being lost if they’re not protected. So don’t take your freedoms for granted. One of the ways you can assert your voice and protect your freedom is by voting. Make sure you do so on Tuesday November 5. Be informed. Be involved. And vote your values on Tuesday November 5.
