We live in a highly charged political climate and for that reason many businesses choose to stay on the sidelines so they don't offend customers. This isn't the case for Target which announced they're marketing products with the rainbow flag in order to promote #gaypride. Specifically, they're featuring rainbow flags and messages on children's clothes. One T-shirt says, "Love my moms." Another says, "Love my dads." From the money it raises from the products, Target is pledging $100,000 to a controversial group called GLSN (Gay, Lesbian, Straight Educators Network) which provides training to LGBT activists in public school across the country. Of course, Target is free to do this. But customers are also free to shop elsewhere. And that's what's happening as there's a national boycott of Target as many object to children being dragged into the culture war.
